01You're in. Sunday, September 13, 7PM EST.T-0 / instant
Preview The exact system we use every week to price real items, not a guess.
Hey, it's Christian. Tony's reading this over my shoulder, so if a sentence sounds like two people wrote it, that's why. You just grabbed your seat for the free live training on the Brand-Tier Comp Method, our system for pricing every single item off real comps and real brand tiers instead of a gut feeling. Sunday, September 13, 7:00 PM EST. Quick version of who we are, in case you found us and just clicked fast. We run a $700,000-plus a year eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari operation together. 12,000 items in the store, nine years doing this, and we've been called top 1 to 2 percent of used-clothing sellers on eBay (Tony made me leave that part in, he's very proud of it). For most of those nine years, the hardest part was never finding stuff to sell. It was pricing it once we had it. Price too high off a hunch and it sits for six months taking up shelf space. Price too low and you just handed away margin you already earned by finding the thing in the first place. Sunday, we're walking through the exact method we use now on every item that comes through our store, live, on real pieces, no notes prepped ahead of time. Keep an eye on your inbox too. A separate email is coming with our free Men's and Women's BOLO List, the same brand names we tell our own VA to watch for at the sourcing table. Add Sunday to your calendar right now so it doesn't slip on you. Save your seat Christian and Tony
02The price call that costs resellers the mostT-9d
Preview Your gut doesn't know the comps. Only the comps know the comps.
Say you pick up a jacket. Tag looks decent, brand you sort of recognize, condition is clean. What do you do? Most people either guess a number that feels right, or they price it low just to be safe and move on. Both of those cost you money, just in different directions. Here's what we actually do, every time, on every item, nine years in. Before a price ever gets typed into a listing, we check what that exact item, or the closest thing to it, has actually sold for. Not what's listed. What sold. Those are two very different numbers. A brand can look impressive on the tag and still be a slow, cheap seller once you check sold comps. A brand you've never heard of can be worth picking up all day once you see what it actually moves for. That's the whole problem with pricing off a hunch. Your gut doesn't know the comps. Only the comps know the comps. Sunday we're walking through the exact system we run on every single item, live, so you can see what we check and in what order before a number ever gets set. Save your seat Christian and Tony
03Todd Snider or Wrangler? Here's how we decide.T-7d
Preview The three buckets every brand falls into, and why guessing wrong costs you.
Every item that comes across our table falls into one of three buckets. We didn't invent this to sound smart, it's just how the sold data actually breaks down once you've looked at enough of it. Bucket one, buy-up brands. Todd Snider, Robert Graham, Pendleton, Zenya. These are worth paying more for at the source because the comps back it up, real buyers pay real money for these names. Bucket two, bread and butter. Levi's, Hagar, Wrangler. Not exciting, nobody's bragging about a Wrangler find. But they sell fast, they sell consistently, and volume on bread and butter is what actually pays the bills month over month. Bucket three, skip it. Southern Tide, Ministry of Supply. Look fine on a hanger. The comps just don't support what people think they're worth, so we pass, no matter how clean the condition is. The mistake we see resellers make constantly is treating every brand like it might be bucket one. It's not a big deal to walk past a Southern Tide polo. It is a big deal to pay bucket-one money for a bucket-three brand and find out three months later why it hasn't sold. Sunday we're going item by item through real pieces and showing you exactly which bucket they land in and why. Save your seat Christian and Tony
04We paid $8. We listed it at $32.T-5d
Preview We paid $8 for it. Here's why that number matters more than the $32.
That's a real one, straight off one of our camera sessions. A jacket, eight dollars at the source, comps said thirty two was the right list price, so that's where it went. Nobody sees that math on a listing page. They just see a jacket for $32. What actually determines whether that's a good buy or a bad one is the $8, not the $32. This is the part that gets skipped when people talk about reselling. Gross sales feels good. A big number on a sales report feels like proof you're doing well. But gross sales includes every dollar you already spent to get the item in the first place, plus fees, plus shipping supplies, plus the gas to go get it. Real profit is what's left after all of that. On $700,000-plus a year across 12,000 items, we've learned the hard way that the buy cost is the number that protects your margin, not the list price. Cheap buy cost gives you room to deal with a flaw. Overpay, and one flaw wipes out the whole deal. Sunday we're showing the real math on real items, buy cost next to list price, so you can see exactly how that $8-to-$32 gap gets decided. Save your seat Christian and Tony
05How two guys run a 12,000-item storeT-4d
Preview The system that lets two brothers run 12,000 items without losing track.
People ask us this more than almost anything else. It's not magic and it's not a big team. It's a system built so nothing depends on memory. Every bag gets a letter and a color, green through red, so nothing gets mixed up between what's been priced, what's been photographed, and what's ready to ship. Every item that comes through gets a short video made for our VA, explaining what the brand is, why it's priced where it's priced, and what to watch for if it gets a return. None of that works without the pricing being right first. A system built on top of a guess just moves the guess around faster. A system built on real comps and real brand tiers is what actually lets two brothers photograph 60 items a day and ship 200-plus orders on a busy weekend without losing track of anything. That's the order things have to go in. Comps and brand tiers first. Systems and speed after. Sunday's training is step one, the part everything else depends on. Save your seat Christian and Tony
06This isn't Storage WarsT-3d
Preview It's not about the one lucky find. It's about buying the right brands over and over.
Somebody's always going to tell you reselling is about finding the one insane item. The barn find. The jacket worth a grand that some sucker at a yard sale sold for a dollar. That happens. Rarely. Waiting around for it is how people quit six months in with nothing to show for the time they put in. Nine years in, our business is not built on rare finds. It's built on volume and consistency, buying the right brands at the right cost, over and over, and letting that add up. Bread and butter, bought right, priced right, moved fast, that's what pays the bills. Not the one lucky pull. We'll also tell you straight, some items we buy don't work out. Something sits for months. Something we thought was a safe bet turns out to be a return. We're not hiding that part Sunday. Showing the misses next to the wins is the only honest way to teach this. If you want the highlight-reel version of reselling, we're not it. If you want to see the real math, including the parts that don't go perfectly, that's Sunday. Save your seat Christian and Tony
07What to have ready SundayT-2d
Preview What to bring Sunday so the training actually sticks.
Two days out. Here's what actually helps before we go live. A notebook or a note on your phone. We move through real comps and real brand names fast, and you'll want to jot a few down as we go. If you've got a few items sitting around that you've been unsure how to price, even better. You don't need them, but the training lands harder when you can run our method against your own stuff while we're doing it live. That's it. No software to install, nothing to buy ahead of time. Just show up Sunday, September 13, 7:00 PM EST. Save your seat Christian and Tony
08Why this ends with a $37 tool, not a pitchT-1d
Preview The training stands on its own. The $37 sheet is there after, if you want it.
One day out, so let's be straight about how Sunday works, because we hate when that part gets buried. The training stands on its own. We're handing you the full Brand-Tier Comp Method live, buy cost next to list price, bucket by bucket, on real items. Take it, write your own notes, build your own brand list from scratch if you want. Plenty of people will do exactly that. At the end, we'll also show you the Brand-Tier Pricing Cheat Sheet, the same brand-bucket reference we use ourselves, laid out so you're not rebuilding it from memory at the sourcing table. It's a one-time $37, optional, no pressure either way. Separate from that, some of you will ask us where to actually get stock to start with. That's a different thing we run called Resale Brothers Wholesale Supply, curated boxes and bulk pallets. Not part of Sunday, not something we're pitching in this training, just an honest answer for anyone who asks. Come for the training. Grab the cheat sheet after if it's useful to you. Nothing about Sunday requires either. Save your seat Christian and Tony
09Tomorrow night, 7PM ESTT-24h
Preview We go live tomorrow night. Here's what to expect.
We go live tomorrow night. Quick reminder before it sneaks up on you. Tomorrow, September 13, 7:00 PM EST, we're walking through the Brand-Tier Comp Method on real items, live. Buy-up brands, bread and butter, and the ones worth skipping, with the actual comps we check before any price gets set. Bring that notebook or your own unpriced items if you've got them handy. We're not doing a highlight reel, we'll show you a slow mover right alongside a good buy, because that's the only version of this that's actually useful to you. Tomorrow, 7:00 PM EST. Here's your link one more time. Save your seat Christian and Tony
